After 3 years and 6,000 frames chasing hi-viz jackets to make visible those hidden in plain sight, I set my project adrift on discovering Stephen Gill had consummately beaten me to it. After 3 more years, as Covid turned this unappreciated demographic into key workers, I revisited the images, recognising a shift of my own.
